The average electricity price on the day-ahead market (DAM) of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX reached 124.35 euros/MWh in November 2025, up 2% from October, when the average baseload price was 122.09 euros/MWh. The average peak price on HUPX DAM rose more sharply, reaching 142.28 euros/MWh, a 10% increase compared to October.
Traded volume on the day-ahead market totaled 2.76 million MWh, 13% higher than October (2.44 million MWh) and 16% more than November 2024 (2.38 million MWh). The average daily traded volume in November stood at 92,120 MWh.
On the intraday market, total traded volume reached 1,142,308 MWh in November 2025, 9% lower than the previous month. The average daily intraday volume amounted to 38,077 MWh, with the average hourly product price rising to 128.05 euros/MWh, a 5% increase compared to October.
