Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in November 2025 totaled 694 GWh, marking an 8.1% decrease compared to 755 GWh in November 2024.
In the electricity mix, hydropower plants contributed 40.9%, thermal power plants 51.4%, and wind farms 7.7% of total gross production.
Net electricity production reached 650 GWh, with hydropower generating 280 GWh, thermal plants 317 GWh, and wind farms 53 GWh.
In November 2025, electricity imports were 99 GWh, down from 216 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports increased to 122 GWh from 105 GWh in November 2024.
Regarding fuel output, brown coal production in November 2025 was 258,762 tons, a 12.6% drop from 296,024 tons in November 2024. Lignite production decreased by 9%, from 108,923 tons last year to 99,172 tons this November. Coke production saw the largest decline, totaling 18,619 tons, 49.3% less than 36,712 tons produced in November 2024.
