The Albanian Ministry of Energy received expressions of interest from local companies to develop four solar farms with a total capacity of 101 MW. The solar plants are not subject to a concession and do not benefit from support measures.
Select Energy has expressed interest in the construction of a solar photovoltaic plant, with an installed capacity of 95 MW, which is located in city Kavaje.
The second application came from Myrto Security for the construction of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of 2 MW, located in Fier Municipality.
The third application is from the company Agro HRP 3M for the construction of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of 2 MW, also in Fier Municipality.
Recently, the company Hydrosolar Energy submitted to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, the application for the construction of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of 2 MW in Fier Municipality
